DNN CON 2014 Thursday Night

We got down to West Palm Beach early so we could have a day of fun before we went to conferences. That meant that we had Thursday evening to have dinner that night with anyone who was in town already.

  
At supper, David Poindexter was telling me about a new module that I had to check out. He said that my clients would love using something like this and that I should check it out. It was a module I've never heard of before... 2 Sexy Content or "2SXC for DNN

Walking around downtown Thursday night, we met other DNN folks who recognized us just because we were wearing DNN T-shirts.

So two more join our group and I ask one of the newcomers, "nice to see you, what do you do with DNN?"

"Oh me? i'm from Switzerland, and this is my first trip to the states for a, conference. I'm the developer behind this new module, 2 Sexy Content"

Shocked at the coincidence and serendipity, I showed him my cell phone with his website still in the browser where I had been researching it earlier that evening!

So that's how these things go at DNN conferences, you come to meet people, to socialize, to network and collaborate with others. 

You're always guaranteed to learn about  new things and new modules and when you're lucky, you'll have the opportunity to spend an hour or more talking about them in a great environment.
